Birth – 2 years old

3 years old – Kindergarten
  • Students memorize books of the New Testament.
  • Memory verses mastered (preschool level)
  • Basic knowledge of the Gospel & Plan of Salvation
  • Understand the difference between the Old and New Testament.
1st & 2nd grades
  • Family devotions are introduced.
  • Believer’s baptism is introduced.
  • Children express a brief personal testimony.
  • Children are able to recognize spiritual fruit.
  • Students are introduced and memorize the books of the Old & New Testament.
  • Early Elementary Memory verses mastered.
  • Children should be able to recognize selected Bible heroes and apply key lessons from those heroes.
3rd & 4th grades
  • Family devotions happen regularly.
  • Can write basic testimony of salvation.
  • Children is challenged to produce “spiritual fruit.”
  • Personal devotions are introduced.
  • Able to find the books of the Bible.
  • Elementary Memory Verses mastered
5th & 6th grades
  • Preteen memory verses mastered.
  • Students have a personal hunger for the Word of God.
  • Challenge themselves spiritually at home.
  • Challenged to write a testimony about their current spiritual journey.
  • Able to talk about the Bible in general terms.
  • Displays spiritual fruit.
  • All topics listed should be mastered.
