How Can I Serve in KidVenture Ministries?
Frequently Asked Questions 1/2
Frequently Asked Questions 2/2

What is my responsibility as a Christian parent/ guardian of a child who participates in KidVenture Sunday Ministries?
  • Parents are an integral part of KidVenture Ministries. In fact, the KidVenture Ministries mission statement, “…Partnering with parents to Reach ‘em, Grow ‘em, Send ‘em,” underscores the need for parental involvement throughout this ministry.
  • Christian parents/guardians (regular attendees who have committed to FAC) are requested to support and serve in the various KidVenture Ministries that serve the children (infants through 6th grade) whom God continues to bring to us. This requires all of us to go the extra mile... for Christ.
  • To provide the best programs, parents/guardians of children in KidVenture Sunday Ministries are requested to serve in one or more of the KidVenture Sunday ministries.
What curriculum do we use in KidVenture Sunday?
  • KidTime (at 11:00 a.m.) uses Group’s Hand’s On Bible curriculum.
  • KidQUEST (at 9:30 a.m.) uses FaithWeaver curriculum.
Can I leave the FAC building while the children are in class?
  • Parents/Guardians are requested to stay on site when children are involved in KidVenture Sunday Ministries. If that is not possible, please provide the Director or Associate Director of Kid- Venture Ministries or the classroom teacher with contact information each time you will be off site.
When will my children be promoted?
  • Once children have been registered into a class, they stay in their age-appropriate, assigned classrooms, even if they have a birthday during the year. Promotion lists for preschoolers will be posted in August.
  • Promotion Sunday will be September 9, 2007 for all children, Nursery—6th grade.
Should my Elementary-aged children bring their Bibles with them?
  • Yes! Children should bring their Bibles to their classrooms. Children entering 1st grade will receive a Bible from FAC to celebrate their promotion from Klubhouse to 1st grade on September 9, 2007.
  • If your child needs a Bible, we are happy to provide one. Please see a classroom teacher or contact the KidVenture Director or Associate Director.
