Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures

We strive to provide an atmosphere in which you know your child is being cared for in a safe environment. Every parent/guardian must participate in our security program to assure the well-being of each child.

Preschool

Infants through kindergarten are taken directly to their age-appropriate classrooms where the classroom teacher or care provider will greet you and register each child.

  • Each child will receive a numbered nametag to wear while in class.
  • Each child’s numbered nametag will correspond with a numbered claim check card that is unique to your child’s classroom.
  • We prefer that parents/guardians drop off and pick up children. However, if this is not possible, family members must be at least 12 years old to both drop off and pick up any child. No child will be returned to anyone without the correct claim check card. If you have any questions, please see the KidVenture Director(Sue Edington) or Associate Director (Carla Corbin).
  • In addition to the numbered claim check card, pagers are also given out to parents who use WeeVentures (the infant and/or toddler nursery). Nursery parents are also asked to fill out a brief check-in form.
