(Bible Learning And Spiritual Training)

KidBLAST is a mid-week Club for 5th & 6th graders.

KidBLAST runs Thursdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m., Sept 2008 - April 2009

Come join us for Extreme Fun, music, object lessons, games, food, and fellowship as we grow in our faith.

KidBLAST Costs:

$8 dollars per Discover book, and $15 yearly dues ($23). This covers the cost of weekly and quarterly awards, game supplies, activity supplies, and Auction items. Please make your check payable to First Alliance Church.

Kids will bring home updates for: Discover Book Lessons, Memory Verses, Key Themes, and Key Questions.


KidBLAST Club Schedule:

Opening:

  • Lively Worship Music (Jam Session)
  • Extreme Object Lessons and Cool Devotions
  • Opening Activities
  • Verse Challenge

Small Group Time: Putting Faith to Action

Large Group Game: Games to build friendships

Food, Fellowship, and Share Time

Closing Time: Wrap Up and Announcements

Reward and Incentive Program for KidBLAST:

Kids earn KidBLAST Bidding Points through verse memorization, bringing Bibles, and Discover Book Devotions. They also earn Bidding Points through participation, completed lessons, group wins, Christ-like character development, and BRINGING FRIENDS!

Bidding points will be used throughout the year during the KidBLAST Extreme Auctions.

5th and 6th graders actively working toward the AWANA Timothy Award may come from 6:30- 6:45 p.m. to have their T&T sections and verses checked by the Team Leaders. Actively working toward the award requires that kids come prepared each week. Kids who do not come prepared for three or more weeks in any 6 week period will be no longer eligible for this special book time.
