The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15).

Our KidVenture AWANA ministry runs from September 19 — April 2008 on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:10 p.m. Our goal is to practice what we find in Psalm 119:11: “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you” (NIV).

Our club includes the following children's ministries:

• Cubbies - for preschool boys and girls (at least 3 years old by Sept. 1, 2007)
• Sparks - for boys and girls in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades
• Truth & Training - for boys and girls in 3rd and 4th grades
