Community Groups PDF Print E-mail

A community group consists of individuals just like you who meet together regularly. They join for relevant, biblical teaching and interactive discussion. Discovering God and growing in community – together.

The purpose of our Community Groups is to implement the mission statement of First Alliance Church which declares:

We are a community glorifying God by being disciples who make disciples.

Through our community groups, we seek to accomplish this mission by providing smaller gatherings of people from all walks of life, who reach out to their communities for Christ in addition to reaching out to each other by being disciples who make disciples.

Community groups vary in size upward to 12 people per group. Each group is led by a committed leader. Each group has its own identity and flair from those who attend. The focus of all the groups is the same: spending time together studying, praying and fellowshipping.

Our prayer for community groups at First Alliance is twofold. First, for all those who call First Alliance home, that they would plug into a community group. Second, that through our community groups, we will reach out to those people we see on a daily basis as we do life together.

We have a variety of community groups that meet throughout the week at different times. If you are interested in becoming a part of one of these exciting community groups, please don’t hesitate. Get connected today! Check out the Welcome Center for a brochure about community groups.
