Associate PastorAndy was born in England, and followed in the footsteps of his parents, who became missionaries with New Tribes Mission when he was ten years old. At the age of thirteen, Andy and his family headed overseas to Papua, New Guinea, where they were missionaries for four years.
Andy returned to England when he was seventeen and moved to the States three years later to pursue Bible training through the New Tribes Bible Institute. It was during this time that he met Ralene, now his wife--they both completed their studies together, earning an Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies. They were married and worked together doing church planting in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The Lord called them to England, where Andy was a circuit preacher for two and a half years, serving as an itinerant minister to different churches on a weekly basis. During this time Andy and Ralene prayed about their missionary work and were led back to New Tribes Mission, this time to Canada and Missouri, where they completed two years of missions and language training, as well as cultural acquisition skills. They graduated with Bachelor degrees in Intercultural Ministries. Prior to joining the FAC staff, Andy taught classes at the New Tribes Bible Institute and was the Dean of Men. He hopes to continue his education as time permits. Andy is an avid reader, loves food of any description, enjoys movies, playing soccer, walking the dog, and fast cars. Did he mention liking food? His life verse is found in Romans 10:13-15:
Andy believes that it is an awesome privilege to be part of the ones who can share the good news with others. |
